Dr. Aloysius Yapp is a leading expert in the field of immersive technology and its applications in education and cultural heritage preservation. As an Assistant Professor at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), he has made significant contributions to the Department of Game Studies, particularly in the Centre for Immersive Technology and Creativity, which he chaired from 2013 to 2023.

Dr. Yapp's research focuses on leveraging virtual and augmented reality to enhance learning experiences and preserve cultural heritage.
